Le Rhum Cadenhead's Green Label Jamaican Rum 13 ans Vieux a été distillé en Jamaïque en alambic traditionnel avec d'être mis en vieillissement dans d'anciens fûts de Bourbon. Après quelques années passées sous les Tropiques, les fûts ont été acheminés en Écosse pour parachever leur maturation. Le Rhum est ensuite réduit à 46%vol avant d'être embouteillé sans aucun additif, ajout de sucre ou filtration à froid, comme toujours chez Cadenhead's.
À la dégustation, le Rhum Cadenhead's Green Label Jamaican Rum 13 ans Vieux affiche un profil typiquement Jamaïcain : poire, banane mûre, ananas, mais aussi écorces d'orange, citron vert, cuir et une touche de vanille.

Founded in 1842 in Aberdeen by George Duncan, the wine and spirits trading company can boast of being the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. In 1858, the founder's nephew, William Cadenhead, purchased the company from his uncle and renamed it Cadenhead's.
Since the 19th century, Cadenhead's has built its reputation thanks to its cutting-edge and demanding selections of Scotch and rum, particularly Demerara! Single barrels or "small batches", Cadenhead's only markets fairly confidential series, highly sought after by informed amateurs.
Cadenhead's bottlings are systematically produced without additives, coloring or cold filtration.
