Pérou

It was in 1929 that the first Peruvian rum was distilled by the Distellerias Unidas SAC, it was the Cartavio brand, which still exists today. Many independent bottlers are interested in Peruvian rums, such as "Plantation" or "Rum Nation" of which Fabio Rossi, the Italian founder of this brand, even acquired, in 2005, a very old sugar hacienda in Chiclayo, in northern Peru. There, he produces, with great success, the brand Millonario.
