The rums from the Dzama distillery, located on the island of Nosy Bé in Madagascar, benefit from a concept of terroir that is complex to understand. In fact, the sugar canes that supply Dzama are surrounded by a whole plant world which influences the aromas of the sugar cane juice, in particular by the ylang ylang flowers, vanilla, clove trees and pepper trees in the surrounding area. The creation of the sugar activity and the Dzama distillery dates back to 1929. Since then, success has continued to crown the efforts of this quality distillery.
