About MONTEBELLO

Nestled in the first reliefs of the Petit-Bourg plain on Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe, the Montebello distillery was founded in 1930. It has been owned by the Marsolle family since 1966. Today, it is the fourth generation of the family that presides over the destiny of the distillery.

Montebello boasts a resolutely traditional approach with more than 90% of the annual sugar cane harvest being cut by hand and grown without chemicals. Montebello works mainly with 3 varieties of sugar cane: Green, Red and White.
