The English Harbor rum brand is produced by Antigua Distillery Limited on the island of Antigua, a small Caribbean island.

The distillery produces its rums with a copper multi-column still manufactured by John Dore & Co. The distillery absolutely insists that these columns remain entirely made of copper because the interaction between this metal and the alcohol, more than the stainless steel, gives a rum which, during its aging, gains in roundness.
