Sainte-Lucie

Located about 40 kilometres south of Martinique, the island of Saint Lucia, which was at the heart of a fierce struggle between English and French, was annexed by the United Kingdom in 1814, and gained its independence in 1979. It was in 1972 that the last two distilleries on the island made only one, still in operating distillery: "St Lucia Distillers", which produces famous Rums, such as "Admiral Rodney" or "Chairman Reserve".
